365 Day's Writing in the Void: prompt 7

 

I'm currently working on the ending of the story that I was working on for prompt 4. This is the prompt for day seven. I will catch up in a few days. However, I'm also going to be doing some anthologies for my writing group, so these stories won't be as long as they have been lately as I get those ready.

Write an 850-word story in the science fiction genre. It's about an acupuncturist and should include a revolver. Also, use the sentence 'You will take the fall for this.' Bonus prompt: Your character has lost someone dear.

I think that this would fit a different genre better, but it is what it is, and the story might reflect that when I get around to it.

I thought I had an idea for this but now I'm tired and can't remember. I'll come back to it when I'm not so tired.
