I've updated a lot of the files for the Kayla book since I'm making it into a serial it will be a lot longer, and also, I'm adding two books to the front end of the original novel. When it is all said and done, it will be available on the site, on Amazon, in ebook, and paperback, and also if I can get in, it will be on Royal Road.com, and maybe wattpad. I don't really care for the wattpad terms of service so we will see.
I want to get a backlog of the first few chapters, before I start posting. The posting schedule might have hiccups if I crash, so we will see.
I ran a lot of tests on the blog last week, or was it the week before? Well anyway, the point is I ran the tests to see if I could make a toc, next, and previous links. I was able to figure it out, so that's a plus.
I'm changing some of the worldbuilding to make it more cohesive. The biggest crit, I've gotten on the story is that the transitions weren't smooth, or it felt choppy, not sure what that really means.
Other than that most of the reviews have been positive. I think that the issue was that I had to take out 25k from the middle, because my editor at the time, didn't have time to edit it. They also missed a few things, so it's probably a good thing that I'm getting around to rewrites.
I'm hoping that things will improve once I get Kayla out of my system. Maybe then I can finish the other 25 million books that I'm almost done with, but since I feel guilty every time I'm working on anything other then this series I'm just going to get it over with.
Well, that's the update, I've got a messy desk full of writing-related stuff, and I had a billion websites open doing research on monsters, and creatures related to the things that were in the first version, but not fleshed out.
I've figured out that the series will be called Keeper of the Key.
So, the new first book will be Lost: Keeper of the Key Volume one. I'm going to be doing it serial style though so, the entire series will be Keeper of the Key, and I'll break it into books later.
Well, that's my crazy for the day. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Take care,
Adriane~
